Chapter 7 - Conquest(II)

"The Divienor clan, its true name being the Sanctified God clan and the Void clan, its true name being the True Emptiness clan will fuse and merge to birth a new clan."

The moment Eros uttered these words, the spiritual pressure within the room violently spiked as all these experts lost control of their powers for a mere instant, the shock of such a revelation too great.

Eros was utterly calm as he observed the confused and distraught expressions of his elders.

On their faces he could see this greatly displeased and angered them but out of respect for who he was they hadn't acted yet, waiting for him and Hera to elaborate.

A smile blooming onto his face, Eros' gaze focused on a row of specific beings, the Pillars.

Beings of unimaginable power and wisdom.

Surprisingly, they were just as calm as some even mysteriously smiled, as if waiting for something.

Though the pillars and Eros had stayed calm, the other representatives in the room had only been getting more and more rowdy as they waited for Eros to elaborate.

"Excuse me your holiness but I don't th-"

Before the ancestor that had spoken could finish his words, Pillar Darklight calmly waved his hand and shut the entire room down, his overbearing presence pressing down on everyone except the two leaders as he gave a slight nod to Eros and Hera, giving them the green light.

Taking a deep breath, Hera stepped forth.

"Thank you elder."

"Firstly, I'd like to announce that I've retrieved the legacy of the four other origin clans and reassembled our true bloodline."

Without wasting time, Hera released her bloodline and a shocking event occurred.

The usual amethyst shade of the True Emptiness bloodlines aura had gained five other esoteric shades.

"N-no…How…?"

"The Khaos and Heavens meet, bridged by the astral to form the Exior, encompassed by the Void, leading to the Eternal Emptiness." Uttered Pillar Void Heart as tears of golden blood flowed down his magnificent face.

Absolute silence reverberated through the hall as the realisation truly set in.

Somehow, Hera had managed to retrieve the fallen legacy of the Astral, Khaos, Heaven and Exior clans. Clans that fell Eternal Cycles ago in a war so brutal and sanglant no record of it exists.

And on top of that, she'd managed to fuse them into her already mature bloodline… The implications and possibilities that would stem from this were too great for anyone to truly fathom…

Only the Pillars of the Void clan knew the secrets of their bloodline and what it meant to have their entire legacy completed.

As they recovered from their shock, Eros stepped forth, a sinister smile etched on his face.

"Secondly, I have managed to retrieve the True Legacies of all the other fallen divine clans."

"WHAT?!"

"IMPOSSIBLE!"

None of the elders could hold it in anymore as they heard this but before they could argue, Eros released his bloodline aura…

"T-the seven divine emanations…"

"The One be eternally praised." Uttered a Pillar in shock as he stepped down his floating mat and bowed down to Eros.

Immediately, all the other members of the Divienor Clans got on their knees.

"Thirdly, we're on the verge of breaking through the Chaos realm." They both announced in unison.

At this point, none of the elders present were shocked as they knew where all of this was going.

At first the Divienor clan elders were utterly offended and indignant at the possibility of their clans merging due to their complicated and tragic past and the Void clan refused due to their innate pride.

Just because Eros had proven to be worthy of their Matriarch didn't mean the entire clan deserved the prestige of their blood.

But now…

"Lastly, I'm pregnant." Calmly concluded Hera.

Perfection.

It seemed like the stars were perfectly aligning.

As the others cheered or foolishly smiled at their future prospects, a certain being remained quiet, his gaze elusive.

"This is all great news but as a Pillar, I'm obliged to ask. How are you planning to deal with our enemies? Our merging won't be left unchecked, especially considering the Heavenly Clans have already started pressuring us." Said Pillar Stone-Edge as he lightly caressed his ashen beard.

A smile appeared on the duo's faces as they sat back in their thrones.

"I think it's already obvious that with both our complete legacies and our merging, only the Heavenly Clans will be worth our attention so the others can be put to the side for now."

"Our ambition isn't so fickle. What would be the point of merging our clans if there was no logical follow up?"

"We plan to become the thirteenth Heavenly Clan of the Chaos Heavens."

"The first step to such an arduous plan is relatively simple. We'll first have to conquer all the royal clans, whether directly or indirectly. After that, it'll simply be a war of attrition until we gather enough land and resources to eventually contact the council."

"Obviously, I do not doubt that we'd win the war. Even before our merge, individually, we were powerful enough to challenge the weakest of Heavenly Clans but the problem is our depth. We don't have enough middling level experts, we don't have enough set alliances, we don't have enough formation or pill masters that'd be able to supply us and most importantly, we're not natives so the will of chaos will favour whoever we attack." Calmly answered Pillar Stone-Edge, his analysis precise and factual.

"But even if we bypass all that and assume that we'd still manage to win, the casualties of such a war would be too heavy for us to be able to truly settle in and would leave us with too many openings to foreign threats. If we mess up, both our clans could get wiped out in one sweep."

"It'd also be beneficial to the other Heavenly clans since we'd be taking one of them down with us, giving them more power and resources." He added.

"We have already thought about that elder. The Orcleon and Reizon clans are willing to supply us with armies of Eternal Grade sentinels." Answered Hera with a chuckle.

For the first time, shock appeared on the faces of all the Pillars as they heard this.

One of the strongest clans had agreed to support them? On top of having the mysterious Orcleon to back them up?

This was perfect…too perfect…

"In the unlikely case that we still lose, the Virvios and Godfall clans are willing to help us and null any conflict, essentially guaranteeing our safety." Added Eros.

Silence.

"Is there any need for further discussion?" Happily exclaimed Pillar Void Slaughter, the devilish smile on his face shared by all present within the room.

"Let's go to war."

On that fateful day, the Divine Erebus Heavenly Clan was born.
