The Heavenly beast race was a very diverse one as it ranged from Dragons, to Phoenixes, Quilins, Gryphons, Golden Crows, White Tigers to Divine Whales and much more!
They had multiple advantages that set them in a completely different sphere of existence.
Firstly, they didn't cultivate.
To be more accurate, their bodies naturally cultivated on its own as they aged and their speed of development was only dependent on the purity of their bloodline.
They didn't need to create the sophisticated circulations techniques the other races had since their attunement to nature and creation was so deep they were able to subconsciously replicate those cyles.
Shadow dragons could naturally create techniques that mimicked the truths of primordial laws of darkness while fire dragons could do the same with primordial fire laws.
This natural ability, this natural affinity toward cultivation was what allowed them to have such a great amount of pristine experts.
