Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 wake up

I had a full life, 80 years in my profession reaching this age was an achievement without counting that I was dying of cancer; the bullets from the battlefields did not get the better of me but a cursed liver cancer. It's a good death for an old special forces soldier. I feel death coming a.last look at my.life yes regrets yes I couldn't start a family....

What is this feeling I feel wet in my underwear, my eyelids are heavy and my vision is blurry a nice pair of boobs come to me. I see two little hands move towards the breasts and this rewarding fluid pours down my throat, damn it, I'm a baby again.

I am reincarnated my eyes fell on this tired but happy face of my mother brown eyes in eyelids sunken by the ordeal of childbirth but filled with a warm glow. A cry was heard from outside and a palpable tension settled on my mother's face I did not have the time to be able to look at the other people present in the room because my mother pressed me hard against her chest. they were helping her to make her stand up. I didn't understand what was being said, from the little furniture I had time to understand that I am in a world close to the medieval time .

A man took me in my mother's arms, he looked at me, smiled and kissed me. I saw he had bloodstains on him and he was tense, he was saying something to my mother and another lady in the room. We all headed outside and even with my reduced vision, I could see the flames devastated our village and cries rose from everywhere. My mother was running under the directives of my father but after less than thirty seconds of running my father was grappling with something, he was struggling with his ax against what seemed to me to be a goblin. I still didn't understand my new language but the intonation of my father's voice made his words clear, he was yelling at my mother to keep running and get as far away that she can but his voice broke in a groan . I knew my father had just died, for being in the hell of war I knew that moan and without being able to control myself I started crying even screaming. I hadn't realized my mother was running crying realizing that my father was sacrificing to steal from us for a second, she was running, falling, getting up to start running again but suddenly an arrow stuck in her chest at one minimeter over that could be my death.

My mother fell but continued to crawl up to a tree behind a pile of bushes and there she rested her back she looked at me with a look where there was no longer despair but acceptance, she started to sing me a lullaby as she put me in her bosom, she was coughing up blood but kept singing... i knew it was the end. Shit, barely born, I was going to die again. Resigned, I clung to the voice of my mother, this woman whose name I would never know but whom I already loved so much. I closed my eyes and without knowing sleep carried me away.

A sensation of dirt woke me up. I was cold. My mother's inert body gave me more warmth, I no longer had the strength to cry. I must have been close to hypoglycemia. I heard distant voices approaching and a human face, a man in medieval armor picked me up he shouted to someone a nun came to take me and hastened to put a bottle in my mouth, which I drained in one gulp. I was save but my family was gone.
