A week later
Working in the office the Iona used, I was filling out a stack of paperwork. Growing irritated with the stack of paper, I restrained myself from burning the pile of papers. The piles seemed to be multiplying each minute. I heard a knock on the door as I growled," Enter."
Iona poked her head in from a small crack in the papers and chuckled," How is it going?"
Glaring harshly through the small opening," I want to burn it. I get the reason behind it, but this is a pain, and my patience is thin..."
She chuckled," Now you know what I had to put up with for 20 years."
Feeling auras at the end of my range, I snorted," Well, Ameria is aiming for me. Or at least preparing for it.''
Iona looked alarmed while she growled," Who did she send?"
"No one we should be overly concerned about except for one. The head of the Traitor Hunters. He can most likely match you, Iona. He can defeat most of this household bar your father, mother, and Urien."
"What about Christina?"
"She is no fighter, Iona. I might be young, but I have combat experience. Either way, I want to test out the bow of the sun."
She gulped while I stood up and walked out onto the open balcony. Next, my father's weapon appeared in my hand. I looked in the direction where the leader was located while I calmly drew the string. I knew the entire force was looking right at where I was. I was radiating a powerful magical aura, after all.
I breathed out before releasing the arrow right towards the Captain. The arrow crossed the distance in mere seconds in a streak of blue flames. An explosion of energy on impact caused a large radius of the forest to be obliterated.
Iona let out a whistle from the destruction the attack caused by the single arrow. I could no longer feel the captain's signature while Iona gasped," Sel-"
I spun around, feeling a prick in my neck, barely catching a glimpse of the Captain holding a needle-like weapon as he sighed," I am sorry, Selena, forgive me."
Falling unconscious mere milliseconds after he said those six words."
