Astrea looked at him for a while "I - I don't know what to say... except I would love to be your girlfriend ", Astrea said smiling widely.
"Really?", Ezra said making Astrea nod her head in agreement.
Ezra was so happy that he leaned forward and kissed her again, causing her to blush once more, she was convinced that if he kept kissing her she was going to get Tachycardia.
As he pulled away he looked into her eyes and said "Let's get you home ,shall we?",Ezra said for Astrea to nod and with that be started the car and he drove away , a couple minutes later they were at her house and he came down to open the door for her to come out , as he held her hand to help her up, as she got out of the car , they both stood there unmoving and it was starting to become awkward so Astrea decided to speak first "I'll get inside now,bye I had a great time "She said with a smile.
"Yeah I did too bye ",Ezra said, With that Astrea started walking inside when she heard Ezra call out"Wait!",Ezra said making Astrea turn around and look at him with her eyebrows raised in question.
Ezra looked at her and said "What?, don't I get a good night kiss from my girlfriend?",Ezra said with a smile, making Astrea look at him with wide eyes to to both their surprises she said "maybe", and leaned closer to kiss him , Astrea had no idea what had possessed her but she was going to go with it.
"I will go inside now ",Astrea said walking away innocently leaving Ezra standing there like a lost puppy ,once he finally regained his senses he drove back home.
Astrea entered her house and saw her mother in the kitchen making lunch and her dad helping, which really couldn't be considered helping because he just stood there talking and occasionally handing her salt or pepper.
"Good evening mom and dad",Astrea said cheerfully making her parents look at her.
"Oh evening love",Her parents answered in unison making Astrea wonder how they always seemed to answer her in unison but she wasn't going to ponder that today , it was an issue for another day.
"What's got you so happy?",Mrs. William asked .
"Me?",Astrea asked looking around.
"Yes you silly, who else is here?",Her mum asked her laughing softly.
"No happy?I'm just in a good mood but happy is a stretch", Astrea said which was a complete lie , she was elated , delighted and extremely happy but no way she was going to tell her parents that, risking them asking why.
"Does it have to do with a certain owner of a black Ferrari?",Her mother smiled raising her eyebrows.
"Louise leave the girl alone ",Her dad said.
"Shaun, don't be like that,now that I'm not breathing down her neck about her grades , I need another way to be close to her and what better way than her love life ",her mom said making her move back and draw her eyebrows together and her dad look at her with a 'I can't believe this is the woman I'm in love with' look and then shake his head
"Anyways I'll get upstairs to change ,bye love you", with that she ran upstairs before her mum could ask her anything else.
Astrea made her way upstairs and took a cold shower as her her heart was still in hyper drive and the cold water helped soothe her racing heart, and thank heavens it did.
She came out and changed into a pair of shorts and a plain pink cotton shirt, after which she braided her hair into two braids and then went down to eat dinner, her mother had made shawarma for dinner,and yes it sounds like a weird choice but it was the easiest thing to make after a tiring day of church and dealing with two kids minus Astrea. Astrea and her family started talking during dinner and bringing up the weirdest topics but no one minded, this was the happiest they had been in the table for a long time without Astrea and her parent's tension everything was bliss.

Ezra sat at the dinner table with his mom eating a nice herb roasted lamb shank when his mom suddenly spoke "What got you so happy baby?",his mom said looking at him.
"Does it have anything to do with a certain girl you've been think about?",his mom asked smiling from ear to ear.
"Yes actually,I asked to be my girlfriend",Ezra said being completely open mainly because he didn't have a filter and said things as they were, a huge difference from Astrea who said things in the nicest way possible,he wondered how come she didn't have more friends, he was convinced that someone like her should have more friends, She's pretty,smart and kind what more was needed.
"And...",His mother drawled excitedly drawing him out of his thoughts about Astrea.
"She said yes!",Ezra said with a smile as he was still on cloud nine after she agreed.
"Really, the way you've described her. she seems really bubbly and she agreed to date you?",his mum raised her eyebrow in question making Ezra look at her with a 'Really' look.
Once his mum saw this she Burst out laughing "I'm just joking baby, you know I think you're great",She said still laughing that Ezra couldn't help but laugh too , once they finished dinner and Ezra washer his dish he went upstairs and called Astrea.

Astrea had finished eating dinner and washing the dishes and went up to her room to sleep seeing as she had school tomorrow, she had fallen asleep when she her phone started ringing waking her up , she grabbed her phone still drowsy and picked it up without looking at who it was.
"Hello",She said while sounding half asleep.
"Hello my green eyed goddess",Ezra said on the other end of the phone with a wide smile making Astrea sit up in bed .
"Oh Ezra hi",Astrea said shyly.
"I called to tell you goodnight so I'll be the last voice you hear before you sleep",Ezra said happily.
"Great but next time can you call earlier ", Astrea said trying not to drift of to sleep during the call.
"Sure bye love, see you tomorrow morning",Ezra said.
"Good night", Astrea said ready to go back to sleep,but then suddenly realized something.
"Wait did you say see you tomorrow morning?",Astrea asked but Ezra cut the call before she could ask anymore and Astrea was to tired to think so she fell back asleep.
