And she ran away again. But I'm glad that this time she did not run away from me out of fear but out of shyness. I chuckled at the memories of her shy face. When I kissed her hand, her face turned crimson.
I think I'm one step closer to having her. Soon there will be a moment when she won't run away from me, but will run into my arms. And I will wait for that moment patiently. It won't be easy. But I will endure it. Since, as the saying goes, the fruit of patience is sweet.
And when I finally have her, I will make up for all the days we are missing out. I'm not a patient person, but if being patient will lead me to her, then I will be patient. You said I would waste my time on you, but butterfly, not only my time but also my whole life belongs to you like yours belongs to me. I will mark myself in her mind, in her body, in her heart, and in her soul, like she did mine.
"Stop smiling like a madman," Aaron said. I took my gaze from the window and looked at him.
"Was I smiling?"
"You're still smiling," he said, annoyed.
"So what? Are you jealous?"
"No, not at all. But I want to know why I'm here with you at the weekend when I was supposed to be sleeping at my house," he said while gritting his teeth.
We are in the car, particularly heading toward nowhere. I gave her space, and I thought today was the day I reappeared in front of her. Aaron took this weekend off. He doesn't have any off days. And I let him take this weekend off because he looked like he was dying.
I would have gone to my butterfly myself, but I wanted to look perfect. I was having a hard time choosing my outfit. That's why I called him early in the morning to come to my house urgently. He thought something had happened and basically flew into my house.
After he arrived, I asked him which outfit would look good on me. And he looked at me like he wanted to choke me, but in the end, he helped me anyway. Since then, he has been looking like someone has robbed him of everything. It's rare for him to be this piss, and it only makes me want to annoy him more.
"Of course, you're here with me to support me. Thank you, Aaron. You are such a great friend," I said. He let out a frustrated sigh and said,
"Okay, since I'm done supporting you, I will take my leave. Please drive yourself home," He was about to pull the car to the side.
"I still have something to do. If you stay with me today, I will give you two days off."
In a second, his mood changed, and he said with a smile.
"Where do you want to go, my Lord? I've been driving aimlessly for a while now."
"Tattoo shop,"
"Tattoo shop? For What?"
"To get a tattoo, of course."
"You have space left in your body for another tattoo?"
"I have a lot of space left; now drive and notify them that I'm coming."
He made a quick call and booked the shop where I got my tattoos done. He drove us to the shop and parked the car. We went inside the shop, and at the sight of us, the shop owner, named Tom, came and greeted us.
"It's a pleasure to meet you again, Mr. Moretti," he said in his high-pitched voice.
There are no customers, but only some staff are here. He managed well on this short notice.
"I have already prepared everything. Please, this way," he said, and led us to the room.
The tattoo artist was waiting for me in the room, and upon seeing me, he bowed. He is the artist who did the tattoos on my body. He is the best artist, and I always get the best. Tom left the room, and Aaron sat in a corner.
I took off my coat, tie, and shirt and then sat on the chair. I told him about the tattoo I wanted. First, he was shocked, and so was Aaron. Then later, he started working on it. I looked at Aaron, and he was still in shock. He came out of his shocked state, and I raised my eyebrow at him.
"I never thought there would be a day when I would see this. You're so whipped, man. I need to tell this to Owen ASAP," he said while taking out his phone.
I shook my head and gave my attention to my chest, where the tattoo was being engraved. Well, not only him, but I also never thought that I would do something like this. How many things will you make me do, butterfly?

The tattoo has been done. I smiled at the sight of it, and the artist bandaged it. The artist left after bowing, and I wore my clothes. I looked at Aaron to see him zoning out.
While I was concentrating on my tattoo, he and Owen were gossiping like girls. He said I'm whipped. Well, not wrong, though. The way he is sleeping right now, people would think I tortured him with overwork.
I went to him and shook him slightly. Instead of waking up, he tried to make himself comfortable on the sofa. I sighed in frustration and shook him aggressively.
"OMG, earthquake."
He woke up and was ready to run, but still, when he saw my boring expression.
"If you're awake, then let's go," I said, and began walking out of the room.
"You could have woken me up nicely," he complained while following me.
"I tried," I said, and he made a grumpy noise. What should I do with this child?
"Please, come again," Tom said, and winked.
He tries to flirt with me every chance he gets, even though I have made it clear that I have no interest in him. I walked out of the shop and went inside the car, with Aaron following me from behind. He sat in the driver's seat and asked,
"Home?"
"Find out where Alisha is right now."
"And?"
"And drive there," I said, and he grunted.
"Didn't you see her some hour ago? Why again?"
"I just need to. After that, you are free to go." I said, and his face lit up like a firework. He sent a text and got a reply shortly after.
"Let's go to your wife," he said, and I smiled.
'My wife' sounds very pleasant. He started driving the car to the location he got. I looked outside the window. I have some work to do and am going to visit my family. But first, I need to see her as she is always my first priority.
Aaron stopped the car at the side of a restaurant. It's a three-storey restaurant with a natural touch. There are big flower trees, and the ground is covered with flower petals. Under the trees, there are some places for people to sit to have meals while enjoying nature's beauty.
Alisha and her friend, whose name, if I remember correctly, is Jennifer, are sitting there and having their lunch. It's already lunchtime. I didn't even notice. She is laughing, and the wind is blowing her hair.
The sun's rays are making her creamy skin glow and make a halo on her head. She looks so alluring. A true angel. I know that I'm dragging her into my dark world, but I can't help but be greedy. I watched her from inside the car and savored the memories of her.
"I don't know if you are hungry or not, but I am."
Aaron's annoying voice ruined my little moment with her. I didn't take my eyes off her and said,
"Go eat something. And make sure she doesn't see you."
"Okay, I will buy something for you too," he said, and got out of the car.
She took a bite of her meal, and there were some crumbs on the corner of her lips. She licked it with her tongue, and I released a shaky breath. What is this girl doing? Damn, it was sexy.
I shook my head to get rid of the wild imagination my mind was ready to make. Aaron came back with the meals and got inside the car. He handed me my lunch and said,
"There is no empty spot. I will eat at home. Do you want to stay longer?"
I looked back at her and saw she had finished her food and was ready to leave.
"No, let's go home," I said. I took a last glance at her before Aaron started driving the car.
After some time, we reached my house, and I told Aaron to have lunch here before leaving. We got inside and had our lunch, then he left. I worked on some documents, and after finishing those, I took a warm shower. It was already evening. I got dressed and left for the main house.
The main house is one and a half-hour's drive away from my house. Upon seeing my car, the main gate opened, and I drove inside the mansion. I parked the car and got inside the house.
Thomas, the butler of the house, greeted me, and I asked him where everyone was. He said everyone was in the living room. I went to the living room and saw my mom and dad talking. Feeling my presence, they looked at me, and Mom smiled at me.
"You came at the right time. We were talking about you," she said.
"And what is it?" I said and sat on the couch.
"My childhood friend's daughter has returned from abroad. She is elegant and well-educated. Since you're not dating anyone right now. Why don't you go on a date with her?" Dad said.
"No," I said.
"At least meet her once. You always stay away from women, as if they were some virus. I also want to play with my grandchildren like others. Please meet her for me." Mom said.
"I will not meet her. Moreover, I already like someone."
"Wow, who is she?" my little brother Liam said, popping out of nowhere.
"If you have someone, then bring her home," Dad said.
"I will bring her when the right time comes, Dad."
"When will it be the right time? I really want to see the girl who made her place in your heart." Mom said, and Liam agreed with her.
"Soon, Mom, soon."
