"Where's the light coming from?" She asked while pointing at the light.
"My dad made it, the king actually." He simply answered and read the book again that he's holding.
"The vampire's king wants to see a light?" She was confused but amazed at the same time.
"Nope, the deity wanted the light." She was shocked by that. So the deity lives here?
They are sitting outside the library, in the garden she saw earlier. It was wide, and there was fresh air. It was just like a normal garden at her home.
"Ahh, that's why." She continued to read her book; she was running out of questions.
"Does your lips hurt?" She raised her eyebrows and frowned; her eyes were still in the books.
"A little." She felt her lips throbbing; she didn't know if that was because a vampire bit them or something. But it really does throb.
She saw him smirk at her peripheral vision; she just rolled her eyes and focused on the book.
"I'm sleepy; I'll go to my room." She closed her book and stood up; Prince Elon immediately stood up too.
"I'll take you to your room."
"What am I, a three-year-old kid? I'll go to my room alone." She took the other books and turned her back on him.
"My woman." She just rolled her eyes and walked away.
Her woman, huh!? She's just a prisoner without a choice about whether she wants to marry him or not!
She stopped and faced him.
"Woman, your face! I thought you were a prince? What are you doing here with your 'woman' sitting, ha? You're supposed to be with your people, guiding them or something!"she was annoyed.
"I'm a prince, and I'm doing my part; I don't have to be there every time. My vampires are stronger than you think. I taught them for so many years." She pouted her lips and finally turned her back.
She wanted to be at peace with him like she planned, but without reason, she was annoyed by him.
'Ugh! How can I convince him to let me go if he's goddamn annoying!'
She walked away with her books, and when she opened the door of the library, a quiet hallway greeted her.
She still remembers the way from here to her room. She continued walking and never bothered to look behind her.
She saw some vampires that were walking and talking around; they just looked but never approach her.
It was okay for her, though.
She just walked straight to her room and immediately closed her door.
She immediately ran to her bed and felt her cold bed.
"Ah! Finally, away from him." She whispered.
She opened her book to continue what she'd read earlier.
She was so focused on reading that she didn't notice that she bit her lips—the ones that Prince Elon bit!
She immediately tasted the metallic taste of a liquid.
She was shocked for a moment. Did she just trigger her own wound?
She touched her lips and saw blood in them; it was plenty compared to earlier.
"God, no." She immediately stood up and looked for a cloth or something.
She entered her comfort room and tried to wash off her blood.
"It's his fault in the first place, gosh! If he didn't bite me, I wouldn't have this blood!" She exclaimed, feeling so annoyed.
When she looked in the mirror, there was still blood, but it wasn't too much.
"I'll just wipe it off." She'll just find a cloth to wipe her lips; it will surely heal soon.
When she opened her door, she was shocked at what was awaiting her.
She felt her body run out of blood; her feet were stuck in the floor, and she felt cold.
"Nice to see you again." His dangerous voice echoed in her ear.
He looks more dangerous than the last time; he was pale like Prince Elon but more sharp-looking. His eyes are blazing dark red, and his fangs are showing.
She swallowed hard, thinking about how she could escape!
He was sitting on her bed and holding her books.
She immediately bit her lips and closed the comfort room door.
"You think that closing the door will save you from me?" He laughs like the devil, and her heart is throbbing.
Her tears are slowly dropping from her eyes.
"G-Go away!" She shouted; she was panicking.
The dark vampire pushes the door so hard that she can't hold it anymore.
"Nah-ah, not gonna happen." Because of his force, she was pushed by the wall and hit her head.
"Aww..." The door finally opened, and she felt dizzy and scared.
"Stay away!" He was ready to attack her when a fast figure get in the way.
His eyes immediately went to her lips, and she was sure it had blood!
A vampire arrived and pushed the dark vampire out of the comfort room.
"Are you okay?" the vampire asked. He scanned me and saw my lips. His eyes changed to red, but he immediately shook his head.
He guided her to stand up as two more vampires were in her room, fighting with the dark vampire.
Her heart was pounding when she saw them take out their weapons.
She needs to admit that even though there are three of Prince Elon's men, the dark vampire is strong. His force was devilish; he's not just dangerous by the looks but a literal dangerous vampire.
The other vampire attacked from behind, and the other one threw a kick. They were trying to corner the dark vampire, but his eyes were locked on her.
His looks are hungry, and she was sure that he'll never do good.
"Ugh!" The vampire who helped her stabbed the dark vampire.
The dark vampire immediately ran to her window.
"I'll be back for your princess; tell Elon that she'll be mine!" He laughed sarcastically and let his body fall from her window.
She held her head and weakly sat down. She was chasing her breath; she was really scared.
"Don't worry, our lady, we'll make sure he doesn't come back here."
