"20 years ago, our village was being attacked by monsters… Goblins, was the name given to them." The old man spoke, his voice shaking.
"They'd raid our village once the sun had set, and kidnap our women, it kept going on for months, and we were running out of options, so we asked neighboring villages for help, Eldoria was one of the villages that helped us."
The young maidens still chained to the dusty ground, their eyes fixed on the old man's every word. Their faces mirrored a mix of fear and curiosity as they leaned in, hanging onto his every word.
He paused, his eyes shifting towards the wide-eyed maidens. The room was filled with anticipation as they tried to fathom where the story was leading, their breaths held in suspense.
"Because of their help, we were able to fend off the goblins for a while, and in return, promised to aid the village by helping them grow their plants and feed their castles… until one day, the goblins attacked again, and only three of the maidens were in our village at the time."
The room seemed to grow smaller as the tension in the air thickened. The young maidens, their faces etched with rapt attention, clung to each word, captivated by the old man's tale.
"They fought the goblins and were badly injured in the process, so I took it upon myself to tend to them, that's when I noticed it… the strange crest on their chest".
The man turned serious, "I knew then and there, making them mine would mean I wouldn't have to depend on Eldoria or any other village… so I drugged them with herbs."
"The herbs helped them forget their memories and it worked in my favor, they were loyal and obedient… but for some reason, even when I tried to…" His voice trailed off after being interrupted.
"W…what the hell are you talking about Kunis?... You said we were brought up in the village… our parents died due to a goblin attack… so what are you saying right now?" Isla's voice quivered with disbelief, her eyes widening in shock as she fixed her gaze on the man.
Chains clinked, a constant reminder of their captivity, keeping the bodies of the maidens anchored to the ground. The room seemed to close in around them, the tension palpable and suffocating.
Their eyes locked, and Isla's emotions churned within her like a tempest. She struggled against the restraints, the desire to confront the man consuming her.
The man's gaze wavered, unable to meet Isla's accusing eyes. "I… lied about that too…" His admission hung heavy in the air, a shroud of betrayal settling over the room.
The unsettling silence was interrupted by a sudden, eerie bark, "Warf! Warf!" Arthur's mind control still held sway over the village head.
"No…way…" Raiden's voice seethed with simmering rage, her features contorted into a visage of fury. Her promise of vengeance hung in the air like a deadly oath. "You're dead… I'll kill you! You hear me?! When I get free you're dead!".
"Shut up with the noise already," Arthur interjected, his movements deliberate as he raised his foot and pressed the man's face against the ground, silencing any further protests.
"Seeing the expression on your faces can only mean… you knew about this too, didn't you all?" Arthur's gaze swept across the villagers, exposing the guilt that clung to their faces like a shadow.
Isla, Raiden, and Mona exchanged bewildered glances, their expressions a tumultuous mix of shock and disbelief. Their trust, shattered like glass, crumbled around them, leaving them in a world turned upside down.
"Unforgivable," Arthur exclaimed, his eyes widening as he surveyed the faces of the villagers. His voice cut through it like a knife. "Not only did you steal my property," he continued, his fingers clenching into fists, "you had the nerve to mess with it also…".
"Don't tell me you also had sex with them…."
"I didn't… I swear…!" The man immediately defended, his face etched with fear and desperation. "Any time we tried to," he stammered, his voice trembling, "they immediately got defensive. I promise we didn't lay a finger on them… I swear on my life!"
{He speaks the truth, these women still have their V card secured, Aimon can read these things you know}
Arthur chuckled, "I came here only to strike a deal about the water plant, instead, I'll leave with a village and three more Virgins in my harem… win win… truly the best win win I can ask for." He laughed a bit, "Well… I don't need this anymore".
Arthur removed his mask, the dusty, sun-soaked air clung to his tousled blonde hair, causing it to sway back and forth. His brown eyes slowly emerged from behind the mask, capturing the attention of anyone who dared to look.
The three maidens lying on the ground were spellbound, their gazes never leaving him as they were immediately captivated by his striking appearance.
"Now then…" Arthur spoke, his foot still resting on the man's head, "Who to deal with first?" The tension in the air crackled, and the villagers held their breath, waiting for his next move.
