The teleportation points of the Space Teleportation Array were random, dispersing those who entered Beast Island all over the place.
"Thank goodness I wasn't teleported into the middle of a demonic beast's den," Long Yan observed his surroundings. Beneath his feet was a barren wasteland with only black sand dunes in sight, stretched across the lands on undulating waves that showed no signs of life.
Luckily, there were no immediate dangers. Some unfortunate souls were teleported directly into the mouths of demonic beasts, becoming food without having the chance to react. That would have been a tragedy.
"What a waste of time," Long Yan muttered as he dashed forward. Though he encountered no dangers during his journey, he didn't find anything valuable either.
"There's some commotion ahead," he noted after a day of travel and just over a hundred miles. Suddenly, the sounds of fighting reached his ears, drawing his attention.
