Germain wasn't speaking lightly; their formation was indeed very tight.
At the front stood Sadaso, with his pale face and squinting eyes. He transmutes his aura into an enormous left arm to replace the one he lost.
In the middle was Riehlvelt, wearing a yellow hood similar to a boxer's, seated in a wheelchair. The two long whips in his hands flickered, leaving afterimages as they moved.
At the rear was Gido, with his upper body protected by a red suit and his lower body supported by a metal rod. The nine gyroscopes driven by his crutches spun at high speed.
They had clear roles, forming a formation like a slowly advancing tank. They could ensure long-range, medium-range, and short-range attacks while advancing and defend each other while retreating.
This striking combination of figures attracted the attention of many nearby.
"Ah... aren't they..."
People recognized Sadaso, Riehlvelt, and Gido. They were strong fighters who could battle on the 200th floor of the Heavens Arena, celebrities in this area, and regulars at the gambling table.
As for the man in the black robe, no one knew who he was. Perhaps he was someone unknown.
Seeing this, people wondered if a street fight was about to break out.
Although the crowd didn't know the grudge they had, they were eager to watch the excitement for free. They cleared a space and watched intently.
Fight, fight! they cheered in their hearts.
In fact, Germain, one of the parties involved, had no idea how he got entangled with these three.
Before he could ask, the trio approached, and Gido's nine gyroscopes shot out together. They moved through the air in a seemingly chaotic and disordered path and then aimed at Germain.
Germain thought, "It seems they can't communicate."
The crowd gasped in surprise. Many had seen Gido use his "Shotgun Blues" in the arena, and those hit by it were often either dead or severely injured.
"Is Gido going to kill someone on the street?" someone in the crowd exclaimed.
Many spectators cheered and jumped for joy. They had come to the Heavens Arena for excitement and enjoyed the sight of bloodshed.
The nine metal gyroscopes flew like meteors towards Germain, not giving him a chance to speak.
Germain used the "Shu" technique to attach his "aura" to the tenth gyroscope in his hand and threw it out casually. It flew like a swift arrow and bounced off one of the approaching gyroscopes.
This caused a chain reaction, bouncing other gyroscopes off their paths and dissipating their aura.
The crowd was stunned again. They had seen gyroscopes deflected in fights before, but it was rare to see someone counter them so effectively.
"Who is this man in the black robe?" they wondered.
In fact, Gido was a "Enhancement" type and Germain was a "Conjuration" type.
Both of them used techniques similar to the "Manipulation" system to control the gyroscopes, which should have had the same effect.
However, Germain's raw power was much stronger than Gido's. Even using a technique he was not skilled in, his strength was still superior.
The remaining five gyroscopes, in the chaos, struck the seats under the parasol. After a series of clangs, there was only a mess left, but no trace of Germain.
By the time the crowd realized, Germain had already moved through the attack area of the gyroscopes unnoticed and had come within the range of Riehlvelt's long whip.
When did he get there so fast?
With such skill, could he be the Floor Master in the Heavens Arena? But he looks unfamiliar.
People were confused.
Germain saw the flash of lightning on the snake-like whip and knew the Riehlvelt was going to electrocute him. Before the whips could wrap around him, he jumped up.
However, while in mid-air, Germain entered Sadaso's attack range. Sadaso stretched out his large hand, infused with "Nen," to grab Germain.
At the same time, Riehlvelt's whips turned towards Germain's legs! Gido's five spinning tops also flew back to hit Germain's back!
No matter how you looked at it, Germain was in a sure-kill situation. He couldn't dodge in mid-air, and attacks were coming from the front, back, and below.
Just when many people thought the outcome was determined, Germain suddenly reached for Sadaso's arm and rushed towards him.
This unexpected move surprised those who thought Germain would lose!
Germain had a spider silk lasso in his hand, and when he jumped, it entangled Sadaso's arm, pulling him towards Sadaso.
Riehlvelt and Gido's attacks missed, their electric whips colliding with the spinning tops!
As Germain got closer to the three of them, he noticed something strange. They seemed like dead people. He couldn't feel their emotions, only instinctive attacks.
This characteristic... Germain frowned, quickly scanning the three of them, and found a clue.
They were already beyond saving before they appeared. They had fatal wounds, and their souls had long dissipated, making their bodies usable as puppets.
Sadaso didn't care about that, and his "Nen-infused arm" still stubbornly reached for Germain.
Germain untied the spider silk rope, swiftly passed Sadaso's obstructing arm, and swung the meat saw upward. Blood sprayed into the air as Sadaso's upper body cleanly split apart.
As the dust settled, Riehlvelt emerged from behind, seated in a wheelchair, retracting his venomous whip just in time as Germain felt a slight tingle under his hunter's hat.
Taking aim with his shotgun, Germain fired a shot that rocked Riehlvelt's wheelchair violently. Riehlvelt's face softened upon impact, but before he could slide off, his whip snaked out, immobilizing him with a sudden electric shock that left a burning smell in the air.
Meanwhile, the severed upper body of Sadaso hit the ground, adding to the chaotic scene.
In the midst of the confusion, Germain calmly advanced toward Gido, the last remaining threat. Gido, along with the others, showed no emotion, a clear sign of manipulation under threat of death.
Nearby, a master manipulator controlled these events like a puppeteer orchestrating a deadly raid. Recognizing the signs and Hisoka's request to meet here, Germain had a good idea of who was behind it all.
Without hesitation, Germain swiftly incapacitated Gido and then assessed the onlookers. As the crowd cheered rather than cowered at the carnage, Germain's strength and resolve surged, accompanied by a newfound gift—the "Gift of Resentment·Left Wrist Arm Guard."
Amidst the excitement, spectators speculated wildly about Germain's identity and background, eager to place their bets on him in the Heavens Arena. Ignoring the commotion, Germain scanned the crowd until he spotted his next target: Illumi Zoldyck.
Illumi, appearing like a phantom among the onlookers, signaled Germain to follow, directing him away from the impending arrival of the police.
