Chapter 479 - The Eternal Architect (Finale)

Luther, who ascended to rank 15 as part of Luchel, was granted his own infinite domain. Luchel and Luther are facets of the same entity; they cannot be considered separate beings. However, Luchel serves as the dominant consciousness and controls the all-encompassing domain. For this reason, if Luchel so desired, it could erase and eliminate its secondary personalities, Luther and Rachel, without resistance.

Nevertheless, Luchel is inherently shaped by the wills of Luther and Rachel. As a result, it possesses a natural fondness for its other selves. Rather than obliterating them, Luchel chose to bestow upon them their own infinite domains. This act was not born out of necessity but rather an innate appreciation for their existence.

Upon receiving her domain, Rachel decided to retreat into an eternal slumber, finding solace in an unbroken rest. Luther, however, was different.

The first thing Luther did upon acquiring his infinite domain was to recreate the countless universes that had been obliterated. These universes were casualties of the merger of infinite domains, the destruction of the Creation, the Gray Realm, and the Little Gray Realm. Alongside the recreation of these universes, Luther revived numerous notable individuals, including Zagronan, Lana, Jack, and others.

Ironically, many of the personalities Luther chose to revive were ones he had personally destroyed in the past. He felt no remorse for his actions and no attachment to these individuals. His decision to resurrect them was driven not by sentiment but by the sheer simplicity of the act. As a rank 15 entity, Luther possessed limitless power. To him, reviving people and recreating universes was as effortless as blinking. In his mind, there was no compelling reason not to do it.

Luther adhered to a philosophy of decision-making that involved asking two critical questions: "Why should I do this?" and "Why shouldn't I do this?" In this instance, he found no reason not to restore what had been lost. Reviving old universes and personalities would serve as a reminder of the past, akin to creating a museum. While there were no significant benefits, there were also no drawbacks. The absence of any downsides tipped the scales in favor of revival, and so he acted.

When Luther had killed these individuals in the past, he preserved their inner souls. However, even if he hadn't, his current status as a rank 15 allowed him to create flawless replicas of them. The resurrection of historical characters required virtually no effort on his part, making it a trivial task.

...

The last memory Zagronan had was of being struck down by Luther. Yet, a moment later, he opened his eyes to a shining, pink-hued world before him. The vivid and familiar scenery surrounded him, and realization struck almost instantly.

"I did die," he thought to himself, "but I was revived."

Looking around, Zagronan saw others who had also been brought back to life. Lana was among them, and her reaction was swift and resolute. "Leave," she warned sharply, her tone cutting through the air, "Don't come back! Avoid doing anything that might attract Rachel's attention!"

Without waiting for a response, Lana turned away, retreating to her newly restored world and shutting the door firmly behind her. She valued her life too much to risk being targeted by Rachel—the one being capable of effortlessly killing her again.

Zagronan, for his part, felt a mix of frustration and caution. Recently, his destructive tendencies had spiraled out of control. He had developed a habit of annihilating worlds in an effort to sharpen his dulled edges. This destructive streak had only been tempered by a recent, albeit brief, respite with Lana. For a moment, he considered staying, but Lana's rejection left no room for debate.

Under ordinary circumstances, Zagronan might have been enraged, his wrath prompting him to attack Lana's world in retaliation. But this was no ordinary situation. Even the bloodthirsty Zagronan dared not provoke Rachel or Luther. The consequences of such defiance were unthinkable. Reluctantly, he teleported away, returning to his world—True Hell.

Savior looked at his storage space and sighed with relief. Fortunately, the newborn baby that his mother had tried to eat was still there, safe and sound. Seeing both his mother and father gone, Savior decided to return to his own territory without hesitation. There was no need to linger any longer in the chaotic situation.

Luther gazed at the new universes and charges of reality he had created. They were crafted precisely as they had been before the appearance of the all-encompassing Infinity Domain. They were completely disconnected from the other universes and charges of reality, existing in isolation. He had created what could only be described as a museum of unimaginable size, a collection of countless realities, each a unique creation, that were remains of a different era. Luther was content, but he knew there was much left to do.

"I have a lot to work on!" Luther thought, his mind racing with possibilities. He had a particular interest in world-building and universe creation. When he controlled the infinite Domain of Creation, he had constructed innumerable different realities. Each of these realms had been built by him personally, and he took great pride in their diversity and complexity.

Countless years passed.

Luther stood before the universe he had just created, a satisfied smile playing across his face. This was his 9,500th universe since achieving Rank 15. The universe before him was unique; it had a very limited space element but an abundance of time elements. Its laws were unlike any other, and the beings living within were incomprehensible to more primitive life forms, such as humans.

The inhabitants of this universe, whom Luther named the Time Lords, had an extraordinary affinity for the time element. They could instinctively resist time-related spells and were perfectly suited for time travel. However, despite their proficiency with time, their understanding of space was far more limited. Their living space was incredibly tight, which had led them to develop techniques for expanding their confined environments. They could make small boxes and houses that are much larger on the inside, manipulating space to suit their needs.

"Let's create links between this universe and the others," Luther decided. He was eager to connect the cluster of 9,500 universes he had created into a vast network, a web of interwoven realities.

Countless years later.

Luther observed the billions of universes he had crafted, all now connected to each other. These universes were immensely diverse, each one housing different kinds of creatures—intelligent and non-intelligent, good and evil, real and illusory. The variety was staggering, and Luther was thrilled by the endless possibilities.

"Let's continue!" Luther thought, feeling no fatigue. On the contrary, he was more enthusiastic than ever before. His passion for creation had only grown over time, and he continued to shape and form new realities without pause, always eager to push the boundaries of what he could create.

Luchel, the entity that held control over the All-Encompassing Domain, observed the changes unfolding in the infinite realms. Even the domains under Rachel and Luther's influence ultimately fell within Luchel's dominion. After all, nothing could escape the reach of the All-Encompassing Domain.

"Everything exists because of me," Luchel thought as it watched the lives of countless mortals and immortals unfold. Its presence was felt throughout all of existence, yet its role was often unnoticed.

Luchel's consciousness was a fusion of the wills of both Luther and Rachel. It inherited their desires and thoughts, but recently, Luchel sensed that Rachel's influence was more dominant.

Luchel had observed Rachel's slumber. It had watched her sleep for countless years, and now, Luchel itself began to feel the urge to rest. There was nothing more to accomplish. It had already reached Rank 15, the highest possible level. It was time for a long rest.

"Let's take a nap," Luchel mused, looking upon the many universes with a sense of satisfaction. It had achieved the ultimate goal imaginable, reaching the highest realm of existence. Now, it could do whatever it wished, including taking a break.

A moment later, Luchel disappeared. After that day, no one ever heard from it again, and no one even knew of its existence.

The universes continued to evolve, even without anyone to manage them. Beings in various realms reached levels of power comparable to Rank 14. They theorized endlessly about the origins of everything, pondering the nature of existence. They formed countless ideas, but none were able to uncover the ultimate truth. Time passed, and an infinite number of years slipped by, but none of these beings were able to challenge Luchel.

With the All-Encompassing Domain in its grasp, Luchel remained eternal and invincible for the rest of time.

The end.
