Zagronan looked at the two people before him and then at the surrounding area. As someone skilled in creating and managing hell worlds, he could tell it was masterfully built, with a torment value of over 100. However, after just one glance, he stopped thinking about it. Zagronan always loved killing and slaughter and couldn't care less about torture and tormenting his prey. In his view, death was the only truth; torturing one's prey was a waste of time and disrespecting death.
"Lana, Lana, I nearly forgot your face!" Zagronan suppressed his killing intent.
Seeing the killing intent dissipate, Lana smiled and said, "Zag, I missed you! Let's get married again!"
"Let's do it!" Zagronan nodded without hesitation.
The two immediately began hugging and kissing, not wasting a moment. As demons, they had no shame in doing it in front of their child. The 'marriage' was just a word anyway; for demons, it didn't make a difference whether they married or not. That said, Zagronan was a very loyal husband, maybe even too loyal, while Lana had sexual relationships with whoever and whatever she wanted. In general, Lana was more of a demon than Zagronan—she was absolutely untrustworthy, treacherous, extremely evil, and disloyal, while Zagronan, at least, remained loyal to his wife.
Seeing his parents about to make a sibling for him, Savior sneaked away as stealthily as possible. He knew his mother well; there was a possibility she might suddenly decide to involve him in their relationship. As a righteous demon, Savior absolutely refused even to entertain the notion of having intimate relations with his mother and father and didn't want to risk the possibility.
...
After a few days, Lana and Zagronan finally stopped their activities and called Savior back.
Lana looked at Savior and thought, "It would've been so fun if we all had sex—a true family gathering! Unfortunately, Zag is too close-minded." She considered the idea briefly but dismissed it. It might anger Zagronan, who could attack Savior, and that was not what she wanted.
Savior felt the gaze of his wickedly smiling mother and shuddered; to hide it, he smiled back.
"Okay, Zag, what do you think of my hell world?" Lana asked.
Zagronan, whose sharp temper had somewhat eased, was in a good mood—the last few days with Lana had really helped. "It's very authentic, but not my style. I wouldn't bother torturing them—just killing them and crushing their souls is enough."
Lana scratched her head. Her son, Savior, had said something similar. She thought, "Maybe I was wrong?"
The idea that she could be wrong entered her mind briefly but was immediately dismissed. "Zag is just wild; he doesn't understand the art of torture. As for my poor son, he had a lonely upbringing. I should have spent more time with him when he was young, guiding him the right way. They are innocent, straightforward demons who know nothing about art. Little dummies," she thought and smiled.
"Let's all stay together for a few trillion years to make up for all the time we were apart," Lana suggested. She planned to teach her son the proper way of being a demon. In her view, it's never too late.
"I agree! It's decided!" Zagronan nodded. He felt that this family reunion had lightened his mental burden, which had been strained lately.
"Mom, um, I have some critical matters I must attend to. I cannot—" Savior tried to finish, but Zagronan looked at him with terrifying killing intent before he could, as if he were about to tear him apart.
"How dare you refuse your mother's only wish after all these years? I should have killed you back then," Zagronan shouted and began to cast a rank 13 spell. He had long been dissatisfied with Savior. However, Lana stopped him at the last moment.
Both Savior and Zagronan were rank 13, but in terms of battle power, Zagronan could seal or kill his son in just a few moves. After all, he had mastered many more universal laws; critically, Rachel had given him some highly specialized ones. Among rank 13s, very, very few could withstand even one move from him.
"Hey, Savior, you were joking, right?" Lana said with concern as she stood between Savior and Zagronan.
Savior sighed inwardly. Clearly, he couldn't escape.
"Of course! I missed you two. I'd love to spend a few million years with my parents," he said, pretending his earlier comments were misunderstandings.
"A few trillion!" Lana said, staring at Savior without blinking.
"Yeah, a few billion!" Savior replied, trying to negotiate.
"Either a few trillion, or I'm joining your father. I'm curious about how you taste," Lana threatened, looking at Savior as if she might devour him the next moment.
"Of course, a few trillion years! It'll be fun—trillions of years!" Savior said, laughing on the outside but crying on the inside. Even though a few trillion years wasn't that long, he knew he would suffer immensely.
"Great! Now, let me show you around! My world is vast—this hell sub-world is only a small part of it!" Lana said, snapping her fingers. A passage opened, leading to the unknown.
"Follow me!" she said.
Zagronan glared at Savior with killing intent and pointed toward the passage.
Helpless, Savior followed his mother, with Zagronan trailing behind him.
...
Meanwhile, Master Purple, the lord of the southern continent, was in closed-door cultivation. He had been cultivating for years and was finally in the final stages. He would soon reach rank 10 and earn the right to move somewhere better than this godforsaken southern continent.
After a few hours, he frowned. His complete law formula was great, but despite all his training, he was failing. If things continued this way, he would explode!
The explosion of a rank 10 could be disastrous, but Lana's world had advanced anti-explosion formations. Any explosion would be suppressed, preventing anyone's death except Master Purple's.
Desperate, Master Purple began praying to the queen. As a believer, everything he had—the law formula, the ingredients—was given to him by the queen. If she helped, he could succeed in reaching the 10th rank.
"My queen, the most evil and terrifying, source of all darkness, you who are the personification of despair, your subject prays for your assistance!" he recited.
Moments later, something flashed. He looked up and saw three figures—his queen, with two unknown male demons behind her.
Master Purple was speechless for a moment. He never expected the queen to appear in person.
Ignoring his precarious situation, he knelt and shouted, "My queen!" The next moment, his body began to inflate—his breakthrough had failed, and he was about to explode.
Lana snapped her fingers, and instantly, all the backlash from his failed breakthrough disappeared.
"Hey, Purple, thanks for your service, but my family and I will spend time together here. I no longer need you," Lana said in a neutral tone.
Master Purple was speechless again. "Family? Does the queen have a family?" He glanced at the two men behind her and understood—they were likely the queen's newest husbands.
"Thank you, my queen, for saving me!" Master Purple, still kneeling, lowered himself even further in gratitude.
"Okay," Lana nodded and snapped her fingers again. In the next moment, Master Purple exploded into a mist of blood.
"Let's go; there are a few places I want to show you!" Lana began walking over the meat paste on the ground as if nothing had happened. Zagronan didn't care either, but Savior shook his head in and sighed.
Savior knew his mother well. She loved to give people hope, but only to crush it. The only reason she had saved Master Purple was to make him hopeful so that she could kill him afterward.
...
"This waterfall is one of my hidden vacation spots! Let's go!" Lana jumped into the lake below the waterfall, followed by Zagronan. Reluctantly, Savior followed.
"This isn't water—it's newborn blood mixed with virgin blood… no, wait, there's more; there is also distilled wine of the seven sins!" Savior thought in horror as he quickly got out of the lake.
"Savior, why are you out? Jump back in! I prepared this with love!" Lana climbed back out and threw him into the lake again.
Zagronan glared with increasing annoyance. He was growing tired of his strange son. As a demon, Zagronan didn't care for such luxuries as this waterfall, but Lana had prepared it for her son with much motherly affection. And instead of thanking her, Savior behaved this way.
"Hey, good news! I'm pregnant with another boy! He'll be born in a few days. We're going to feast on him!" Lana announced cheerfully.
Zagronan frowned. "Can we not eat him? Let him live," he said, always hating Lana's habit of eating their children.
"Hey, this is my world. We do what I say!" Lana responded coldly.
Zagronan shook his head. "If he's talented, we'll keep him. If not, we eat him. How about that?" he proposed.
Lana thought for a moment and agreed. "Okay."
...
A few days later...
"Such trash. He's even worse than this useless son of ours, Savior. Let's just eat him—maybe he'll taste good," Zagronan said, looking at the newborn with disgust.
"Okay!" Lana was about to take a bite.
Savior, who dreaded what would happen, desperately racked his brain, searching for an excuse to save his newborn brother who like him had green hair.
