Chapter 313 - Same As Before

The Sand Sect was the biggest in the world, by far the strongest, having more than 10 million soul transformation cultivators and three perfection realm cultivators. Still, even the entire Sand Sect didn't have the power to defeat a single ten-element cultivator; there is a massive difference between the peak of ten elements and realms below it.

It would have been much more understandable if the peak of perfection was its own realm; a peak of perfection cultivator is at the apex of mortals, the highest ceiling before stepping into rank 10; the difference of power between early and peak in perfection is higher than any other realm.

The sand sect has three perfection cultivators, but none are at the peak of perfection, so they have no chance against peak ten-element cultivators.

Even though it lacked the ability to put up any meaningful resistance, it was still the sect that produced the most number of perfection cultivators; it had contact information for many peak perfection cultivators. It used its contacts and requested help from as many people as it could find; unbeknownst to the Sand Sect, they did not need to inform anyone.

One of the oldest rank 9 beings in this world, known simply as Hon, read the letter written on ordinary immortal paper.

Hon was old; he was from the era before the wizards, one of the few who reached rank 9 using the ancient blood master technique. It's rumored that Daoist Blood Sea was also one of those ancient blood masters.

Blood masters' cultivation techniques are the most difficult and complicated. They rely on the power of their bloodlines to advance in their cultivation.

Their cultivation has only five stages, from one to five stars.

A one-star blood master has power equal to the nascent soul, a two-star has power equal to the substance soul realm, a three-star has power equal to the void soul realm, a four-star has power equal to the soul transformation realm, and a five-star has power equal to the perfection realm.

Five-star blood masters are usually stronger than perfection cultivators because they have more practical skills that cost less energy to cast; their upper limit of strength is the same as that of peak perfection realm cultivators.

Hon read the letter and threw it away; he disappeared, teleporting away.

Perfection cultivators have no association or sect, but they know each other and have each other's contact information; after all, they have lived for countless years, so they all know each other and have met each other at least once.

The recent incident attracted the attention of everyone; even though many ignored it, some still contacted each other and started discussing it.

Hon appeared in a simple room in the middle of an ancient forest, where 50 other perfection cultivators were also present.

Technically, perfection cultivators can speak to each other from far away, but they mostly still prefer to meet face to face; also, when talking about important topics, they still use their mouths instead of talking directly with their minds.

Perfection cultivators can 'speak' with each other directly with their minds faster than the best computers of advanced civilizations; when discussing complicated cultivation techniques or strategizing about complicated matters, they don't use their mouths but communicate with their brains, but when it comes to straightforward matters, they still use their mouth and tongue.

Distance is no barrier; they can teleport to wherever they are at any time, so they favor face-to-face meetings.

No one reacted, even as Hon teleported in.

After waiting for another hour, someone started talking.

"Should we fight or concede?" asked a perfection cultivator, directly going to the meat of the issue; among these people, there is no formality or politeness; those things are useless and surface-level nonsense for them.

"Yes," nodded Hon. He was quite close to completing his blood dao complete law and didn't want any disruption.

Most others also nodded.

A man with short white hair and a young face said, "Who would negotiate the deal?"

They looked at each other; nobody volunteered.

After seeing nobody volunteered, Hon sighed, raised his voice, and said, "I'll do it, but I expect to be compensated for it. What is your offer?"

"1 Billion High-level blood crystals," said one of the perfection cultivators.

"A blood dragon's fertilized egg," said another.

One by one, they named their offers; the total was a massive wealth not even superforces have in their treasury. Perfection cultivators who live for billions and trillions of years are extremely rich; the personal wealth of each is far more than a supersect's entire treasury.

Nodding his head, Hon said, "Then I'll take care of it." After saying this, he disappeared.

There is no need for bragging among high-level beings who have lived for a long time; everyone gives a fair offer, and the total pay is satisfying.

As for trust, Hon had no doubt that they would honor their word; after all, they are beings who would live forever; it would be extremely foolish to default on their debt and ruin their credit forever; once a reputation is ruined, it would be extremely hard to get it back.

Among peak perfection cultivators, nearly all are very careful about what they say and promise; if they promise something that they cannot accomplish, that would destroy their credibility for eternity.

It must be said that perfection cultivators have a very good memory and remember if someone is untrustworthy.

Even though perfection cultivators are not united and have no sect or guild, they still deal with each other from time to time. For example, if a perfection cultivator specialized in luck dao discovers a treasure of blood dao, which has no use for them, they would find a blood dao perfection to sell it; these deals are rare, but they happen.

Seeing it was over, everyone teleported away.

"Senior, a perfection cultivator named Hon has come to negotiate," a nine-element cultivator said to Firepower.

"Let's go," Firepower said and teleported away, other powers also teleporting; he did expect a negotiator from the perfection cultivators.

"We will give you what you want; you will gain access to our most cherished cultivation technique. If you wish, you can stay in this world and cultivate. We would only welcome you; there is no enmity from our side," said the Hon. He wasn't hostile at all.

On the other side, the nine powers were all surprised; they didn't expect perfection cultivators just to accept everything.

"Is this a surrender?" asked Positive Power.

"You can call it that; we would be happy to coexist with you," said Hon.

Firepower secretly messaged other powers and debated with them on their next action.

"Should we agree?" asked Firepower.

"Of course! He basically gave us everything! There is no reason to fight!" said Negative Power.

Everyone agreed, and so Firepower said, "We have a deal!"

The elemental cultivators still kept their war campaign intact for fear that everything was a trick. However, nothing happened as time passed; there was no resistance at all, even as they took over a few superpowers.

In their takeovers, elemental cultivators didn't cross red lines; they allowed perfection realm cultivators of those super forces to run away; they didn't hunt them down.

That is because they were afraid to provoke resistance from other peak perfection cultivators; they know better than anyone that they have no chance if even 20% of perfection cultivators of this world start truly fighting them.

They continued attacking superforce after superforce. In only one year, they completely took over the world, except for some parts that were controlled directly by perfection cultivators.

There was no defense at all; not even super forces resisted. They just surrendered, handed over everything they had, and agreed to be absorbed by elemental cultivators.

Elemental cultivators got everything they wanted: many very precious techniques from many forces, along with many other, much more valuable techniques from Hon, and a lot of cultivation resources.

With nothing to worry about, most entered closed-door cultivation to comprehend the new cultivation techniques.

Battles are usually not bloody among big forces; they don't suffer from the same prejudices as mortals; they would reach peace if their interest is not in direct conflict; in this case, they have the possibility to coexist, so why fight?

For perfection cultivators, nothing but their cultivation matters. As stated before, perfection cultivators rarely care about resources, people, etc.; they only care about their path to complete law.

After the takeover by the elemental cultivators, the intense prosecution of transmigrators ended temporarily.

After a few years, however, the new rulers, elemental cultivators, started to catch transmigrators exactly as perfection cultivators had; after only a few years, they witnessed the danger transmigrators could pose, so they made the same decision.

Firepower was a transmigrator himself and had a system; after killing a few, he accidentally absorbed their systems. He was surprised to find that after absorbing a few systems, his own system was strengthened, and a portal to another world also opened; he also gained a few other system-related abilities.

Like this, Firepower arrested transmigrators, killed them, and took over their systems, upgrading his own system by leaps and bounds.
