Chapter 310 - Typical Transmigrator

Jack didn't hold back; he started teaching Tlod anything that could help him grow in strength, except those techniques that could potentially harm the world's Dao collection. Now Jack is down to 80%; he would no longer risk further damaging the Dao collection.

Tlod, for his part, remained loyal to his word. He listened attentively and reaped the benefits. The cultivation techniques Jack was teaching him were much superior to wizard techniques, so hearing about them and how they worked was very enlightening. Still, Tlod didn't abandon his wizard training; he just researched and experimented with integrating Jack's techniques into his wizard training.

Jack didn't teach him Heaven's Way; over the years, he had taken over the library of the Brown Dynasty, the five big sects, and the Blood Sea inheritance. He had many complete training techniques.

...

The Wizard world had a simple way of governance. The rulers were the top ten detachment wizards, who were very secretive; nobody knew how they decided things. What was clear is that as long as they made a decision, it had to be implemented; there was no way to resist the council of the top ten.

Below them was the Congress of Holy Wizards, the Supreme Court, and the Lord Wizard President and Prime Minister.

The Congress of Holy Wizards comprised select wizards who were granted the title of 'Holy' by the top ten. The Congress was responsible for passing laws that affected wizards and mortals alike; of course, laws passed by the Congress could be overruled by the top ten council at any time. However, the council of the top ten generally only gave very broad directions, leaving much room for Congress to create its laws in line with those directions.

The Supreme Court was made up of nine holy wizards. It resolved disputes among different branches of wizard government; it had no role in deciding ordinary court cases. It only heard cases from disputes among high-ranking wizards, government branches, and other very high-stakes cases.

The Lord Wizard President was elected by a majority vote of all wizards; it had a limited role, mostly advocating for lower-level wizards' rights. Unlike many other systems, the president here could not command the army or appoint ministers. All of those were the role of the Prime Minister, who was chosen by the Congress of holy Wizards. The only notable role of the President was the ability to veto laws that were passed with less than 60% of the vote in Congress.

The Prime Minister was the head of the wizard government and its army. His or her office was powerful but restricted by the will of Congress; if the Prime Minister displeased the Congress, he or she could be ousted with a simple vote.

Overall, the true power lay in the council of the top ten.

Under the wizard government were countless mortal governments. These mortal governments were bound to follow laws passed by Congress and had very limited power to do anything meaningful.

The Firesprit Country, for example, could rule its mortal population, appoint nobles, and even train wizards and create its own army. However, no matter what it tried to do, it could not go against the will of Congress; the wizard army could crush it at any time.

This inheritance world is not the exact copy of the ancient wizard civilization; it is a simplified version, where there is only one mortal kingdom, Firesprit Country, and where there is only one main opposition force, the detachment wizard of the east. After all, even an inheritance set up by a rank 10 has a limit; Tlod couldn't include everything that was in the real world in the inheritance because if he wanted to do it, he should have created another proper rank 11 world.

Tlod used to be a very unpopular figure among the wizard circles; that, however, started to change.

Tlod completely abandoned his research on the soul and returned to the conventional wizardry way of believing in reincarnation and not touching the soul. It took a while for anyone to believe him, but after a few decades, most forgot about the past and welcomed him back into their circles

The main line of wizards who believed in reincarnation was an echo chamber where one must not doubt some sensitive beliefs, the most important of which was the existence of reincarnation.

The most helpful and useful groups and associations are those in which people can debate openly and say what they believe without fear of retribution; the wizards were the complete opposite of that. Still, although many taboos could not be discussed, they had very advanced research on many other subjects, such as the five basic elements, four ancient elements, other newer elements, combined elemental magic, fusion magic, etc.

Tlod already had detailed explanations about the cultivators' techniques; he didn't need to research the soul at all. Jack had already given him the final results. What he needed from the wizards was their research on those subjects. Those research results were even useful for Jack.

After abandoning soul research, Tlod returned himself to the bright side, where he could live in peace and obtain many useful resources; these were all Jack's advice. If it was up to Tlod, he might have stubbornly refused to join the mainline wizard belief and may have run off to the east, but because of Jack's advice, he chose the best course of action.

This provided Jack with a stable environment for growth.

...

100 years later.

There was no time limit on staying on the inheritance grounds.

During these years, Jack used the newly gained knowledge of the wizards, trying to improve Heaven's Way. Wizards had done good research on the past of the will of heaven; their knowledge was extremely useful for forging ahead with Heaven's Way's research. Still, Jack was far from completing the multiple-soul chapter of Heaven's Way.

Name: Jack (Peak of 10th stage of Substance Soul Realm)

Main mission: Conquer the World

Side missions: (list)

Temporary task: Live 100 years in the inheritance world – reward: 150,000 Points – difficulty A+ - claim reward – More Temporary tasks (list)

Grandpa count: 1 (+)

Current Grandpas: 1- Soul Transformation Realm 10th Stage

Points: 887,000

After the system upgrade, the tasks started giving many more points; even 100 years' worth of effort was far from enough to buy a perfect grandpa.

Jack long ago decided against spending system points on buying lower-grade grandpas. He tapped on "Claim reward," and his points soared to 1,037,000, about 1/33 of what's needed to buy a single peak perfection grandpa. Even the updated system isn't enough to help him conquer the world easily; after all, Jack only merged a few systems. If he merged hundreds or thousands of systems, his system would have been much more overpowered.

"At this rate, I have no chance of success!" The inheritance could not hide him forever. What's more, there are many transmigrators outside; even though they are being hunted down by the Sand Sect, what if one of them manages to slip away and grow? Jack knows how terrifying transmigrators can be; if one of them combines more than 100 systems, their system could be upgraded to a 'Very Advanced' level. A very advanced level is extremely powerful; given time, it would be easy to reach the perfection realm.

From the beginning, Jack's biggest challenge was not the world and its native forces; after all, he designed the world and knew the personalities of those living there. Even though he could not directly use any information he knew about the many important characters, knowing their personalities and current and likely future was a massive advantage.

The transmigrators, however, weren't under Jack's control; they were all under Rachel's direct control. Jack had no control over who traveled here as a transmigrator.

...

Daoist Firepower was not your typical transmigrator. He wasn't struck by lightning, not a truck or an asteroid; his story is a bit strange.

He was a cultivator in the 10 Element Realm who opened a portal to another world after many million years of effort.

He entered the portal, but before reaching this side, something went wrong. The portal exploded, and he died; he still deeply remembers the regret he felt before being shredded by the chaos.

But, after death, he found himself in another world; in his sea of consciousness, he found a portal that directly led to his previous world.

A 'system' interface appeared before his eye, with details about his level, health, state, etc. It gave him a 'gift package' that restored his previous cultivation level.

Unlike nearly all other transmigrators, he can still return to his original world, trade his world's items with this world, and take advantage of both sides to strengthen himself.

Everything that happened was so illusory; it was as if an immortal was helping him from behind the curtain. It's rumored that his clan produced an immortal countless years ago. After these incidents, he began believing that the immortal of his family was helping him secretly.

His world's cultivation realm is different from this world. His original world divided the cultivation into 10 realms, starting from 1 Element Realm to 10 Element Realm.

After some testing, he realized that 10 Element Realm cultivators of his world were roughly as strong as the perfection realm cultivators of this world. There was one difference: 10 Element Realm cultivators had limited lifespans, while perfection Realm cultivators of this world had unlimited lifespans.

The prospect of having unlimited lifespans is extremely tempting to everyone; Daoist Firepower wouldn't have decided to share it with his rivals, but he was forced to. The perfection cultivators of this world started hunting him down; no matter where he ran to, they chased him, and he was barely able to escape.

After that incident, he finally decided to tell the secret to his world's other 10 Element cultivators; he would form a group and allow them to pass through his portal to attack the perfection cultivators!

Now, after a hundred years of preparation, over five thousand 9 Element cultivators, who were just a bit weaker than early perfection cultivators, and three hundred 10 element cultivators, who were as strong as peak perfections, have gathered and all passed through the portal, with Daoist Firepower in the lead.
