Coming out after a hot bath Kelly Williams who just finished taking her bath was still soaked looking sexy with her figures clearly showing as she was wrapped in her towel.
Kelly was surprised to see one of Rashad's corner street kids, a young man named Malik, badge in without knocking. He came in and saw Kelly half naked, then he turned his back quickly, trying to avoid her getting upset.
Kelly noticed this and kept putting on her creamy white lotion on her thighs. She asked Malik what he wanted.
"Kid!! What the hell do you want?"
"Mam we've been low on supplies," Malik said. "The buyers have been asking for more."
Kelly sighed "Rashad's not around. Come back some other time. Or it will best you don't come back cause I'm going to pass the message across when he gets here"
"Okay cool, Mam" Malik responded as he moved five steps backwards out of the room.
Kelly then picked up her phone. She just remembered that it had been two days since Rashad left the house and he had not returned. She started to phoning him but the call kept diverting to voicemail.
The voicemail said, "Hello, this is Rashad Morey. I'm busy right now. Kindly leave a message."
After too many attempts Kelly thought it would be best she left a message so she did saying, "Yo, Rashad, your guys need you ASAP. I haven't seen your ass for two days. Where are you, man?"
She hung up the phone and tried again, but it still went to voicemail. She started to get worried. She had never known Rashad to be this unreachable.
.
Especially not to this extent that his boys can't even reach him.
Kelly was starting to panic. She didn't know what to do. There was no clue in her mind of anyone else she could ask. She was all alone.
She decided to go to Rashad's crib. She hoped that she would find him there.
When she got to Rashad's crib, the boys there were in operation in Rashad's absence. She went to his door and knocked on the door, but no one answered. She tried the doorknob, but it was locked.
Kelly was starting to lose hope. She didn't know where Rashad was or what had happened to him. She was scared.
She opened the door and the boys inside did not notice they were too distracted playing video games. She didn't know what else to do.
After a few minutes, she heard a voice.
"Hey," the voice said.
Kelly looked up and saw Malik standing in front of her.
"You are here in the crib Mam," Malik said.
"I've been looking for Rashad," Kelly said. "I can't find him."
"I know," Malik said. "I've been looking for him too."
Kelly sighed deeply "What do you think happened to him?"
"I don't know," Malik said. "But I'm going to find out."
Malik put his hand on Kelly's hand and helped her up.
"Come on, Mam," he said. "We're going to find him."
Malik took Kelly to his Peugeot 3008 car, which he did open the door asking Kelly to go in.
Kelly was getting surprised by Malik's act of kindness. It has been a while since someone treated her with this much care.
So she asked him, Hey, kid, why are you being so nice to me?
"Mam, I'm just doing my duties as a loyal boy to my boss."
Kelly laughed and said, "Indeed loyal boy."
Malik grabbed Kelly's hand and helped her into the car gently. This was something that Rashad had never done for her. Rashad was always yelling and turning her down all the time. But Malik was being a perfect gentleman.
As they drove away, Kelly thought about Malik's kindness. She wondered why he was being so nice to her, especially when he knew that Rashad would not approve.
She decided to ask him.
She coughed while sitting on the other side of the driver seat next to Malik. She was staring at his Gucci top and Cuban chains around his neck "Malik," she said. " Tell me the truth, why are you being so nice to me?"
Malik looked at her and smiled. "Because I care about you," he said. "I don't want to see you hurt."
Kelly was surprised. She didn't know what to say.
"I know that Rashad, my boss , is not treating you well," Malik said. "And I don't like it. You deserve better."
Kelly started strolling her fingertips on Malik top. She had never had anyone stand up for her like this before.
"Thank you," she said. "Thank you for being so kind to me." "Loyal boy." She added as she bursted into laughter.
Malik smiled at her face . "You're welcome," he said.
Kelly started feeling comfortable turning her braids all over knowing fully well that Malik was focused on her.
They drove in silence for a few minutes. Then Malik said, "Mam it's been how many days since you last saw him "Rashad, that nigga" the way he said it made both Kelly and Malik burst into laughter.
"It's been two days today," Kelly said. "Today will make it the third since I have laid my eyes on him. So also the boys, the Purple Gangsters, the one Rashad was the leader. It's been a long time since the boys have been looking all over this hood for him."
"Or has he relocated there and left us in the trenches all by ourselves?" Malik asked.
Kelly shook her head. "I don't know, I hope not. I mean, he wouldn't just leave us like that, would he?"
Malik didn't answer. He just kept driving, his eyes scanning the streets for any coming vehicle so he could dodge beacause it was dark in Shreveport Louisana.
After a while, Malik pulled over to the side of the road. "Kelly, let 's spend some time out of this vehicle and feel the cool breeze coming from the night cloud. "Let's talk," he said.
Kelly got out of the car and by the bridge rim she stood next to Malik. They looked out at the street afar off, there was no clear vision of a single living being all they both saw was lights on the buildings which they saw faintly.
