After lunch, they drove back to the company, "thank you for the lunch" Leslie said opening the car door to leave
"Inform me when you're about to go home" Adrian said as she left the car. Leslie didn't reply but she wasn't also planning to tell him anything, she was very grateful to him for saving her life but she didn't want to get involved with him for any other reason
Adrian watched her walk into the company, he knew it was going to be difficult keeping her by his side and he wasn't planning to force her either, her stubbornness intrigued him, he would take his time to win her over, a smile formed in his lips
Leslie walked back into her office to continue working on the design, but she found someone sitting on her chair like she owned the office. Confused Leslie walked out of the door to confirm she came to the right place, Making sure it was her office she walked back in
"I'm sorry but I think....", "shut up intern" the brunette coloured hair lady interrupted, Leslie raised her eyebrows with her mouth clamped together, she knew this would happen but not this quick 'I don't have time for this' she thought
"Who do you think you are, seducing the boss of the company" the brunette stood up from the chair sauntering towards Leslie
Leslie stared at her as she walked to her direction, she wasn't gonna lie the lady was beautiful, with her Hazel coloured eyes and nice curves but what's with all the make up and why did it feel like she was the one being seduced here, shaking her head slightly to get the thoughts out of her mind, The lady was already in front of her, if not for the heels she would have been the lady's height, Leslie stared down at her shoes
"Nice shoes, where did you get them" Leslie complimented, the lady stared at her taken by surprise by the question, wasn't the intern scared of her "I...I bought them from an expensive shoe store do you like it?" she replied
Leslie nodded slowly, walking away from the lady she walked back to her chair, sitting she looked up offering a nice smile "your shoes are really pretty, but please I have to work can you leave" Leslie replied setting up her laptop
The lady blinked wondering how it turned to this, she was supposed to intimidate this intern, but the girl sat down not fazed by her words, getting back her composure, she walked to the desk about to slam the laptop shut
Leslie pulled the laptop out of the desk, looking confused at the lady "is anything the problem ma'am, do you want me to do something for you"
"You've got guts treating your senior like this, I'll teach you a lesson" the lady said glaring at Leslie, standing up straight she sauntered out of the office
Leslie watched her back as she left, placing her laptop back on her desk, she rubbed her neck in exhaustion "this is exactly what I want to stay away from" sighing she opened her laptop and started to work
Checking the time it was already time to leave from work, putting final details on the design she shut down her laptop, putting everything in order before, she got up about to leave
Her mind flashed back to when Adrian asked her to inform him when she was leaving, shrugging it off she already made up her mind she wouldn't, she could go home on her own
Walking out of the office, she saw Jake moving towards her direction "how about we go home together" Jake said as soon as he got to her side, Leslie didn't spare him a glance "No"
"Hey, c'mon I'm your friend I just want to make sure you get home safe" Jake added, Leslie sighed she didn't have energy to argue with him but she had a gut feeling that he wasn't safe around her with her being kidnapped, she stopped walking turning to him, she made a decision she never thought she would consider "I'm fine the boss will take me home, go home Jake call me when you get home" Leslie said turning towards the elevator, to get to Adrian's office
Jake stood watching as she disappeared into the elevator, he wondered when she got soo close to the owner of the company
