Nathan sat in the driver's seat as he gripped onto the steering wheel tightly. He watched her leave. He tried to calm down his nerves. He knew that this would all pan out in the end but there was still a part of him that he had to admit that this was bad and things didn't seem to be going the way that he had planned.
He gulped as he sucked in a deep breath and he shook his head slightly. He watched her disappear through the doors before he made the decision to leave . The last thing that he wanted was for her to think that he was stalking her.
He was already well aware of the fact that ahe was onto him. He knew that he had explaining to do on his end but he knew that it would all make sense eventually to her.
He began to drive away as his own Nervous thoughts seemed to wander all over the place. He pulled out his phone as he realized that he had to fix this. This was going to ruin all of his plans. He got the fact that this was all hard but he knew that he just had to keep himself composed for that.
"We have a problem". Was the simple words that came out of his mouth. He heard some shuffling on the other end.
"I am going to need you to elaborate a little and maybe give me a little more than that". He heard the voice csau on the other end. He groaned as he realized that he was right.
"It's the boy. He is persistent and he is stubborn. He had a kid as well which only makes this all the more complicated and frustrating". He said to him in a mutter under his breath.
"Well then that is very simple. All you have to do is fix the problem and throw the kid out of the equation." He heard the other man say down the line and he made it seem as though it was the easiest thing to do.
"You know that is not possible. I feel she is into me. She was listening in this morning and Rachel wasn't much help." He said to the man on the other end of the line in a grumbling tone.
He knew that he shouldn't have allowed for it to bother him but he had a perfect plan and he had everything mapped out. He just needed it to work out to his plan.
"Well then you have to fix it . We have worked way too hard for all of this to end badly". He said to him in a frustrated tone.
"I know that. You know that I know that more than anybody here so don't press down on me." He said to him in frustration.
"I am just saying. If I had known that you would send the child back to her then we would have killed him in the first place and get it out of the way in the first place": he heard Marvin say.
He groaned in frustration at his words. He hadn't expected for things to go this way and if he had known that his actions would have gone back to haunt him in such a way then he wouldn't have gone through with it.
"I know that and like I said she doesn't know why the childis and that is all that matters. I know that you don't see it now but I have a plan. With him hounding with ntover it will make it even that more painful for him when I rip them apart from each other. Everything has to be mapped out perfectly.`` He said to him and he let out a sigh from his lips as he nodded his head at him in response to his words.
He froze suddenly when he watched as a figure walked past him. He narrowed his eyes as he recognized that mop of hair. And the leather jacket. He smirked as he knew all too well that it was Rover. "Excuse me, I have to go." He said to Marvin and he was quick to turn off the phone.
He sighed as he ran a hand through his hair and he slipped his sunglasses on his face. It seemed that River was in town. It meant that he should have been looking for her. He wasn't ready for them to meet just yet.
He slowed down his car as he came to a stop beside his form As he pressed down on his horn. He watched as he turned towards him and gave him a small smile. River seemed shocked to see hom.
well, hello there Alpha." He said to him with a glint in his eye. He watched as he looked towards him with a furrowed look. "Hello, Nathan." He said briefly.
River was cautious about him. He knew that he didn't know much about the man but he was aware that he was from the silver Crest pack. It was one of their neighbors and their alpha was his fathers friend.
They had taken a wrong tune when they had been attacked. They had counted on them to offer them help when they needed it but they had given them none. He didn't blame them in a sense they were usually reserved and secluded but he had expected them to at least offer them sanctuary.
"Nathan right?" He asked him hesitantly. He nodded his head at him as he gave him a small head nod and he smirked at him briefly. "Yes, that is me. How about you join me in the car so that we can talk". He asked.
River could tell that he wasn't asking. He didn't like the fact that he was demanding him to do something but he smiled nonetheless as he entered the car.
"So what is it that you want? I don't entirely appreciate being summoned by people that I don't know." He said to him in an authoritative time. He watched as he hlinted his eyes at him but remained unfazed.
"Yes, well I hear that you are looking for something. Someone maybe. What if I can help you find her". He said to him and he watched as he growled loudly.
"Where is she?" He asked. "I will tell you all of that when the time's right but for now. A message from someone you know." He whispered.
"Keep your possessions safe."
