"Hi agent Josephine, you called me," Jackson said to the chief agent while standing some distance away from her.
He was just arriving at the unit when one of his colleagues informed him that the chief agent wanted to see him, and without hesitating, he went directly to her office.
Once he placed a soft knock on the door, she ordered him to come in.
"Yes, Jackson, please have a seat, the chief agent said to him while pointing at the chair, and without hesitating, Jackson pulled the chair a little backward and sat down while wondering why the chief agent had called him.
"Jackson, tell me, the night after you were attacked by Daniel, did you go back to the supermarket to check if there were any clues that would help you find Daniel?" The chief agent asked Jackson.
"Actually, no," Jackson replied while avoiding her gaze.
