"Hey, babe, are you okay? It's Daniel, right?" Catherine asked Jerry as she noticed the fright written all over his face after taking the call.
"Yes, it's him; he's blaming me for his mother's death, and he said that we should be anticipating his arrival," Jerry said to Catherine, who swallowed hard.
"And what is he coming to do?" Catherine asked Jerry with a frightened tone.
"Certainly he's coming to avenge his mother's death," Jerry said to Catherine while trying to maintain a calm tone.
"I think we should tell Jackson," Catherine suggested to Jerry, who was a little reluctant about it.
"Come on, babe, I thought he asked you to let him know if you hear from him, and don't forget the promise that you made to Cynthia," Catherine said to Jerry, who heaved heavily.
"Let's go," Jerry said to Catherine while stepping down from the car.
