Purple Summers's skin was slightly cool to the touch, soft and delicate in his hand, like cool, smooth jade, and also like soft silk.
Some strange thoughts bubbled up in his mind, making Nathaniel Summers restless, but when he caught Purple Summers's puzzled and scrutinizing gaze, he suddenly snapped back to reality, remembering how the woman before him had betrayed him and thrown herself into the arms of another man.
