Purple Summers continued her questioning.
"Earlier, when the prosecutor asked you, you said you've worked for the Carter Family for a year and a half and are very familiar with Edward Carter and Nadia Cory, so much so that you couldn't possibly mistake them, correct?"
The maid nodded slightly, "Yes, that's right."
Purple Summers continued, "Then you should know, Edward Carter has a small scar on his face. Can you point out where exactly it is now?"
The maid instinctively looked at Edward Carter in the defendant's seat.
Purple Summers took a step, blocking her view, and said with a smile, "Witness, please look into my eyes and tell me the answer, alright?"
The maid felt awkward and shook her head gently, "I don't know... "
"He has a small scar on the left side of his chin," Purple Summers smiled and then asked, "Does he have a black mole on one of his ears, and if so, do you know which side?"
The maid pursed her lips and shook her head again.
