Purple Summers couldn't help but laugh and cry at the same time. Once Autumn Carter had left, she couldn't help saying, "Autumn's words always manage to take one by surprise."
"Those weren't Autumn's words." Edward Carter watched his daughter leave, his face still showing a gentle smile, "That's a line from Conan; she's a little detective enthusiast. She has loved these things since she was young. When I was imprisoned, I was really worried that she wouldn't be able to accept it. Guess what Autumn said?"
Purple Summers asked, "What did she say?"
Edward Carter chuckled, "Autumn said that fate had marked her for something extraordinary, just like in the cartoons. To become Spider-Man, one must be bitten by a spider; to become Batman, one must be scared by a bat; to become a great detective, a relative must be falsely imprisoned. From then on, she embarked on the path of solving mysteries, struggling against all sorts of evil forces."
Purple Summers laughed, "Autumn is very cute."
