Laura looked at Yolanda in confusion, "Sis, I don't understand."
Yolanda then told her sister what she had overheard in the garden.
"She thinks too highly of herself, blatantly recommending a law firm to Mr. Jameson. It's just ridiculous." Yolanda said with a cold laugh.
After hearing the whole story, Laura was still puzzled, "Why would Purple do this? Isn't this blatantly offending Mr. Jameson?... His mother is a member of the school board; maybe she won't let Purple be admitted because of this!"
Thinking of the possibility that Purple Summers might be rejected by Grey, Laura laughed maliciously, "She brought it on herself! Who does she think she is, thinking she can get into Grey?"
Yolanda reminded her, "That reason alone is not enough to reject a new student."
Disappointed, Laura consoled herself, "Even if she gets in, wouldn't life be hard having offended a school director?"
