The Planning Department suddenly received notice that everyone would be given a day off, leaving not only Enna Clark stunned, but also Kingston Howard himself couldn't snap back to reality.
"Director, today isn't April Fools' Day, you aren't joking with us, right?"
They had just arrived at work when they were suddenly told that they would have the entire day off, and no other department had this privilege—only their department was unexpectedly given a holiday.
This was simply too unbelievable.
"No, it's a directive that just came from above. You all really have the day off today; everyone can pack up their things and leave work."
"Really?" The others, seeing his expression didn't look like he was joking, finally believed it, "Damn, we really got a day off! Could it be that the President is considering the overtime we put in recently and specially rewarded us with a holiday?"
"Linda, what are your plans for the afternoon?"
