The nurse came out of the ward after having hung a glucose drip for the patient.
Soon after, a middle-aged woman also came out. Seeing Enna Clark, there was a hint of redness around her eyes, but she didn't say much. She just looked at Enna hesitantly before saying, "Miss Clark, do you have a moment? My Tessa would like to have a word with you alone."
Enna Clark had been waiting for Tessa Wilson to seek her out, and answered without hesitation, "Yes, I'm available."
Then she turned back to Scott Harris, "Mr. Harris, could you wait outside for me for a moment? I'll be right out."
Scott Harris was originally reluctant to let her go in alone, but thinking about how she had behaved at the abandoned factory earlier that day, his concerns eased considerably. He did not insist on going in with her. "All right, I'll wait outside for Miss Clark. Call me if you need anything."
"Okay, I know," Enna replied.
With that, Enna pushed the door open and went in.
