Her milky voice was especially adorable, especially those grape-like big eyes, so cute that everyone loved her.
The servant, holding back a laugh, came out of the kitchen and said to Enna Clark, "Miss, it's time for the little miss to go to bed. I'll take her back to the room and put her to sleep."
"Okay," Enna Clark handed the little dumpling over to her.
Giselle Lawrence had nerves of steel; she didn't cry or fuss like other children her age when she was suddenly transferred from her mommy's arms to Auntie Poppy's. Instead, she flashed a silly smile at Auntie Poppy and said, "Sleep, go to sleep."
"Right, right, the little miss is going to sleep, let's go, it's time for us to go to bed."
The servant carried her and headed toward the room.
After the bedroom door was shut, Enna Clark sat down next to Bobby, stroked his head lightly, and asked softly, "Baby, how did you feel about your first day at school? Are you getting used to it?"
