Freya Morrison's body froze.
She did not speak but instead turned her attention to Alex Tonkin, who had fallen to the ground. She hurried over, helped Alex up from the ground, and asked, "Senior, I'm sorry... how are you?"
Alex touched his swollen face, looked at Freya, whose eyes were red, and said with a heartache, "I'm fine, really fine."
Only then did Freya nod her head.
