Everyone at the scene was stunned.
They all looked at Eve Thompson, while Oliver Charles frowned, "Nonsense! How could you do it?"
Eve's eyes were determined, "But if I don't play, will anyone else help?"
Would anyone else help?
Donald Hyde's moves were ruthless and painful; none of the surrounding students dared to step up.
Unable to speak as he watched everyone back away, Oliver knew that even if Eve played, they would still be one person short. His gaze swept through the crowd and suddenly landed on Anthony Charlie. Oliver's eyes lit up!
He rushed over, looking like he had just seen a glimpse of hope, "Cousin!"
Anthony frowned, looking towards Donald Hyde on the basketball court. If he were to step in, it would be bullying, as they were all college students. Moreover, it was just a game among kids; if Oliver lost, he'd learn a lesson. No one can have a smooth life, and this painful lesson would make him grow.
With these thoughts in mind, Anthony lowered his head.
