Ava White sighed as she spoke, "If only he had been contactable when the kidnappers called, if he only could've told us he was abroad, we would've known it was a scam. And then, how could anything have happened to Iris? In the end, Iris's misfortune is all his fault! So, why should he have the guts to return?"
After she finished speaking, she angrily turned to Jonas Thompson, "Jonas, our poor family was already going to be united with the Charlie family. Now that Iris is gone like this, Mr. Charlie hasn't spoken to us at all these days! He must have lost heart!"
