A familiar voice made Iris Thompson suddenly look up.
She glanced out for help and saw a man striding over to her.
There were about five people in the room, Eric Maxwell was inside, while four people guarded the entrance, two men and two women. Seeing him approach and noticing his demeanor, they felt a little uneasy.
But they raised their heads and spoke anyway, "What's it to you what we're doing? I advise you not to interfere!"
Upon hearing this, the man stopped at the door and scanned them with his sharp eyes, devoid of any emotion, "You know, I love sticking my nose in other people's business."
His words infuriated the group.
One guy charged at him, "What do you want?"
Before he could get close, the man suddenly kicked him to the ground with such speed that no one could react in time.
The one who was knocked down couldn't get back up due to the pain in his chest from the kick, so he shouted, "You...how dare you hit someone? I'm calling the police!"
