"I got you a new phone, you can do without anything else—just not a phone." Jane Sampson took out a box from the rear seat and handed it to Bright Sampton. It was a black, latest-model Fruit brand phone. "You'll have to get the SIM card yourself."
As she said this, Jane took a card out of her wallet and handed it to Bright. "You returned your card to Dad, this is my card. There's ten thousand in it. Take it and use it for now. If you run out, just tell me, and I'll transfer more to you. Don't try to save it for me; I have work and investments now, so I can afford to support you with plenty to spare."
"Sis, I'll take the phone, but let's skip the money, okay?" Bright waved his hand. "I still haven't spent my scholarship from last semester."
To tell the truth, it wasn't much. Otherwise, Bright wouldn't have left it untouched for so long.
It was only 2,000 bucks, not even enough to buy a phone that wouldn't lag during gaming.
