Jane Sampson and Coco Edwards were chatting at the doorway when James Black had already gone inside and sat in the living room, waiting for Jane Sampson.
"Come here," hearing Jane Sampson's bounding footsteps, James Black, seated there, called out to her.
Flustered with her purse in hand, Jane Sampson responded, then hastened her steps and ran over, sitting obediently by James Black's side, and began to speak, "Chief Black, what are your orders?"
Her words made James Black look at her deeply.
"Use my phone to call Peter Gingery. I have something to explain to him. Hold the phone to my ear for me," James Black instructed. "I remember my phone is in your purse."
"It's here." Jane Sampson nodded, quickly retrieved James Black's phone from her purse, and unlocked it in no time.
