The fragrance of breakfast from the dining hall had already wafted over, and Jane Sampson immediately turned her head and hastened her pace towards it.
"What did you buy this morning?" Jane peeped from behind James Black, then slowly walked out from behind him and sat down in the chair next to him.
The breakfast had been bought by James after his run, driving out since there wasn't a breakfast spot nearby.
Looking at the very light breakfast on the table, Jane sighed, "Do people here drink porridge in the morning?"
It was that sigh which caused James to glance up at her.
"You have to sing these two days; what more do you want to eat?" James placed Jane's portion in front of her, "Southland breakfasts are basically all these kinds of porridge and soupy things."
