Jane Sampson was left speechless by James Black's response because it seemed like what he said wasn't wrong.
Seeing Jane Sampson quiet, just looking down and messing with the grass underfoot, James Black reached out and patted her on the head, "Give me the phone, and I'll add you back."
Jane Sampson reluctantly handed over her phone. After James Black took it back, she huffed and turned her head away, refusing to look at him.
The expression on her little face was one of proud coyness.
"All done," James Black returned Jane Sampson's phone to her, then held out his own phone in front of her and asked, "No need to be unhappy now."
Jane Sampson glanced at James Black's phone, puzzled, and the next second, she couldn't hide the smile that spread across the corners of her mouth.
