Jane Sampson's dormitory was abuzz because everyone would be parting ways the next day, so they all exchanged contact information and promised to meet up whenever possible.
Mair Williams squeezed onto Jane Sampson's bed, her face clouded with thoughts, until Jane handed her a lollipop, which she took instinctively.
Only after eating did Mair Williams realize what had happened.
"My goodness! You're feeding me candy! I'm trying to lose weight!" Mair Williams hurriedly took it out.
Jane laughed heartily, "I saw you zoning out, so I just wanted to try it out—I didn't expect you to actually eat it!"
"One day of dieting won't make a difference, and since it's already been eaten, if you dare waste it, do you believe Jane Sampson could gobble you up?" Hibiscus Wood started to indulge herself, stuffing marshmallows into her mouth one after another, "We've been here a week, haven't had any snacks, and now we can't even have a little candy?"
