"When did this guy learn such a cool move?"
Before Jane Sampson could reply, James Black's voice dropped, "Didn't receive it?"
James Black lowered his gaze in thought. It couldn't be. The other party had said it would take at most one hour to deliver, but now more than an hour had passed.
"Received, received!" Jane Sampson hurriedly said, "So, a truckload of fruits, it really was you who bought them?"
"Mhm," James Black answered, "Didn't you say you didn't know who threw away your fruits? As long as you know the purpose behind their actions, that's enough."
"Purpose? To disgust me, to vex me," Jane reasoned. After all, throwing fruits didn't hurt physically, nor did it cause loss of flesh. Such acts were nothing more than vexing, so regarding the fruit-throwing incident, Jane just felt a brief annoyance and then quickly returned to a good mood.
Having said that, Jane couldn't hold back and let out a giggling laugh.
