Jane Sampson, while speaking, passed her and Elizabeth King's ID cards over, glanced over there, and figured there must be some important person over there.
After the guards reviewed the IDs and confirmed that Jane Sampson was an actor in the film crew, she and Elizabeth King were allowed to pass. Only after walking in did Jane learn from others that the Village Chief had just arrived.
Jane loved a good crowd, but wasn't quite as excited by this sort of bustle. Elizabeth King had already squeezed into the group, while Jane, feeling hungry, went straight to the side and grabbed a meal to find a place to sit and eat.
