Elizabeth King walked around the courtyard, shaking her head persistently, then entered Jane Sampson's room. Seeing that Jane Sampson wasn't showing any discomfort, she began to unpack her stuff from her suitcase. Unable to hold back, Elizabeth King asked, "Sister Jane, don't you think the accommodations here are a bit poor? Look at the courtyard, even the floor is just ordinary soil, not even basic cement. Just now, in my room, I even saw a cockroach."
What really overwhelmed Elizabeth King was that these old-style houses were never short of mosquitoes, cockroaches, and mice.
"It's alright," Jane Sampson looked around and responded, "I think it's pretty good. At least each room has a separate public restroom, and the decorations there are quite nice, with a modern separation of dry and wet areas, and inside the room there's a complete set of amenities."
