Jane Sampson suddenly felt that she wasn't that tired after all; she had taken a nap in the afternoon and it seemed like she could stay up all night without sleeping. Just now, there seemed to be something missing from the script that she hadn't fully reviewed.
After getting an answer from Jane Sampson, James Black placed the book he was holding down and started waiting for Jane to return. Nearly five minutes had passed, yet there was no sign of Jane.
James Black frowned and called out her name and surname, "Jane Sampson."
The person in the cloakroom bit her lip and didn't respond, giving the suitcase an idle kick.
What do you do when you pretend not to hear and don't want to go out?
There was no movement from the person in the cloakroom, and James walked barefoot off the bed, towards the cloakroom. As he pulled open the door, he saw Jane leaning against the wall, lost in thought. He asked, "Do you plan on sleeping in the cloakroom tonight?"
"Can I?" Jane blurted out.
