"Why?" Jane Sampson turned her head to look at James Black, "Didn't we agree just now to stay here tonight?"
"Did I agree?" James Black countered and effortlessly lifted the person still sitting on a chair, "You're stuffed, let's take a walk in the courtyard."
After being carried by James Black for a few steps, Jane Sampson snapped back to reality, swatted his hand away with one hand, turned, and ran upstairs, shouting as she went, "I don't want to go home!"
Everyone downstairs, including James Black, was left stunned by Jane Sampson's move.
James Black snorted with laughter and pursued her thinking she had already run back to her room, but after turning a corner, he came face to face with her, catching her breath at the corner. Seeing him catching up, she ran ahead as if seeing a ghost.
James Black, unhurriedly, braced the door panel with one hand just as Jane was about to close the door, and then said to her, who was sulking inside, "Done running? If not, go back downstairs."
