Jane Sampson held her mobile phone, stunned for quite a while. She was very surprised—had James Black actually blocked her on WhatsApp?
Looking at the string of small black characters, Jane mumbled to herself, "He wouldn't have blocked my mobile number as well, would he?"
Thinking of this, Jane immediately sent James a text message. Since it was just a test, she only sent two words followed by a punctuation mark.

Seeing that the text message was sent successfully, Jane inexplicably breathed a sigh of relief. He hadn't blocked her completely, so there might still be a chance to mend things, right?
