"Hmm, when you have time, please try to persuade her more," Mother Rice thought it was possible that Nina had guessed she would consult Jane, which is why Nina hadn't breathed a word to Jane.
Since Jane also didn't know about it, Mother Rice didn't go into too much detail about Nina, only wanting Jane to visit the Rice family when she had free time.
After hanging up the phone, Jane pondered hard over Nina's tone during their recent call, anticipating that Nina hadn't found the right investor from what Mother Rice implied. Yet, Jane hadn't detected any urgency or a hint of bad mood in Nina's voice.
