"What happened?" Peter Gingery asked, "I just said that Brother James Black's mood today was inexplicably bad."
"I think it's not related to me," Jane Sampson argued seriously, "It was just a while ago when he called me and asked me when I'd go back; I told him it'd be three to five months, and then we didn't talk about anything else."
Peter Gingery thought about it carefully and hummed in agreement, "Then it should have nothing to do with you. Besides, whether you and my brother meet every three to five months or not for half a year, it's all normal."
Since it had nothing to do with Jane Sampson, Peter Gingery became dejected. Had something else unpleasant happened within the guard team today?
It seemed like there was nothing before Julie Sampton arrived at the guard base.
