"They came from the fridge, must be James who put them there." Jane Sampson scratched her head, then sat down next to Brooke Black and asked, "Grandpa must be in a good mood this morning, right?" Otherwise, he wouldn't have gone to walk the dog.
"I have no clue." Brooke replied on purpose, even though Old Master Black had been elated all morning after reading the overwhelmingly positive comments about Jane on the internet upon waking up.
But that was something she couldn't say, as Old Master Black was playing coy even with James, so Brooke wasn't entirely sure what kind of 'policy' the old man was planning to adopt with Jane.
"Auntie, stop teasing me," Jane moved even closer to Brooke and asked, "Do you think Grandpa will like this tea?"
"What if I say he won't like it, what are you going to do?" Brooke asked. As soon as she said that, her husband glanced at her.
