Rock Bell slowly put down her mobile phone and, imitating Jane Sampson's manner, looked back at her, "Are you wondering why I got divorced from Daniel Taylor?"
"Does Sister Tin have mind-reading powers?" Jane chuckled, "I am a bit curious."
"It's not that I can read minds, it's just that whatever you think, you write it on your face. You really need to change this about yourself. Otherwise, in this merciless circle, you'll suffer," Rock Bell admonished her.
"When I put on an act, even I'm scared of myself. I'm just not being pretentious in front of you, Sister Tin." Jane spoke the truth. If she wanted to pretend, who could see through it?
Only, having pretended for too long, one would feel living was too tiring. Just like in her past life, she was not the real Jane Sampson, putting on and maintaining a facade. That's why she thought about wanting a divorce, wanting to let go of the self that was constantly suppressed.
