"Heading out?" James Black had already noticed that Jane Sampson had changed her clothes and even applied light makeup, "Where to?"
"Looking for a job," Jane Sampson tried to make her tone sound very ordinary before she picked up a set of bowl and chopsticks and sat down opposite James.
"Good realization," James complimented Jane, and then he glanced at the time on his watch before standing up, "I'll return to the team, call me if you need anything."
James didn't inquire about what kind of job Jane was preparing to look for; in his mind, Jane, being a music major, would probably be looking for a job related to the piano.
As soon as she heard James was leaving, Jane quickly put down the chopsticks in her hand and stood up almost subconsciously, much like a young wife standing by his side before her rebirth, ready to hand him something and then see him to the door.
