She had thought that James Black would first return to the upstairs, but when she came out from the kitchen, he was still sitting in the living room waiting for her.
It was not until he saw her exiting the kitchen that James Black stood up and walked over to her side, his voice low as he said, "Let's go back upstairs."
"Oh, alright," Jane Sampson stretched, twisted her waist and neck, and replied.
"Rock Bell called you just now, I answered for you. She said that the weather in Capital Province has been pretty bad these last few days, constantly raining heavily. Flights have been continuously delayed, and in the end, they were outright cancelled. She mentioned she needs to wait for updates from the airline before she can come, and told you to stay here with ease in the meantime," James Black explained.
