The team members on the other side, hearing this sentence, became excited all at once, each thinking, oh my, Sister-in-law said she likes me! Oh my, Goddess Sampson said she likes me!
Meanwhile, James Black glanced over at Jane Sampson and frowned slightly upon hearing her words.
"A bunch of idiots, what's there to like?" James Black scoffed, turning his head to address Peter Gingery, "Including you!"
Peter Gingery exclaimed in surprise and took a step back. Why did it feel like Chief Black was emanating a hint of jealousy at this moment?
"Brother," Peter Gingery spoke in a lowered voice, "Sister-in-law said she likes every single person here, and every single person, I don't know if that includes you."
