James Black twirled the paper slip in his hand and in doing so, he discovered another item Jane Sampson had hidden.
Underneath the turtle, there lay a large "Black" character. If he hadn't seen it faintly from the other side of the paper, James would have never guessed that Jane wrote the name "Black" in that spot right under where the turtle was attached.
She really was...

James couldn't help but chuckle softly to himself, then carefully put away the slip of paper.
Next to the gift box that Jane Sampson had casually prepared for him, there was also a self-criticism report, folded neatly into a square.
James glanced at the self-criticism report, thought for a moment, then reached out and slowly, unhurriedly, unfolded it. As the first line came into view, he couldn't help but let a smile spread across his eyes.
