One portion was for the relatives at the Black Residence, one was for Grandpa and Granny Sampton, and another was for Bright Sampton.
After dividing them, Jane Sampson returned to the living room and saw James Black already sitting there, reading a book. She approached him and casually asked, "Why don't you read in the study? If you close the study's door, I won't disturb you with my rustling around here in the living room."
James Black glanced at Jane Sampson but didn't reply.
Jane Sampson couldn't figure out what James's look meant. She raised her hand to scratch her head and then walked over to James, sitting right next to him with her eyes sparkling as she looked at him.
"If you have something to say, just say it," James finally tore his gaze away from Jane's face and returned it to the book on his knee.
"You aren't in a rush to read right this moment, are you?" Jane smiled with cunning charm, "How about I cook lunch for you today?"
